Ray McDonald Cuimmings, was born May 6, 1951 in the Bronx, New York to the late Casper McDonald Cummings and Andrae Cordell Cummings. He was known as ''Lucky'' to many in Baltimore. He received his education in the Bronx, New York public school system. He later attended the College of New Rochelle-New York. He received many certifications in Baltimore City. As a child, Ray loved to run and play a variety of sports. He loved playing basketball. He enjoyed mentoring to children, trying to guide them in the right direction in life. He was employed at a variety of jobs throughout New York and Baltiore City. He met and fell in love with Erna Juanita Austin. A beautiful union was formed. They were married October 2003. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Erna; mother, Andrae; one sister, Traci; son, Sean; daughter, Chante; teo granddaughters, Iyesha and Yannyiah; his favorite cousin, Afrika BamBaata; favorite aunt, Donise and aunt, LaMarse; father-in-law, Edward; three sisters-in-law, Edward Jr., Angelo, Andre, Milton, Rickey, Pedro and Carlos; along with a host of uncles, nieces and nephews.
