IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ray A.
Johnson, Sr.
February 28, 1960 – February 16, 2018
Ray Johnson
better known as "Uncle Ray"
was born in Baltimore City on February 28, 1960 to
Mary Ervin and the late Corvell Johnson. On the
early afternoon of February 16,2018 by the will
and grace of God, our loving Ray was unfortunately
called home.
Ray received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
During his time in school and even after, Ray developed an interest in art.
He enjoyed drawing and creating artistic pieces in his spare time. Although
drawing was one of his hobbies, along the road, Ray began to pursue a career
in construction as a local roofer in order to support his family. Ray was known
as a very easy going, fun, loving, and friendly person. He was very passionate
about his personal relationships he had with friends and family. He frequently
reflected on memorable experiences and adventures he shared with
them. Overall, Ray was a special person, dad, uncle, cousin, and friend.
We all appreciate the things Ray has done for family and friends over
the years. He will absolutely be missed and will always remain a major
part of our hearts and memories.
He leaves behind, his mother, Mary Ervin; two daughters,
Raven Johnson and Daneka Langston; one son, Ray Johnson,
Jr.; one sister, Shirley McCelolan; one brother, Henry James:
a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, and other relatives
and friends.
