Ray Edward Richardson, son of the late Joseph R. Richardson and Olivia Whittington-Richardson, was born on October 10, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on May 13, 2007. Ray was a product of the Baltimore City Public School System. He was drafted into the Army in 1967, he served in the Vietnam, and he was honorably discharded in 1969. Ray was the neighborhood handyman, affectionally known as ''Cap''. he would do anything to help anyone. He will be greatly missed. Ray's only sister preceded him in death, Olivia Richardson Hawkins. He is survived by two brothers, Webster Richardson and Joseph Richardson, both of Baltimore, MD; three devoted nephews, Jerome Hawkins, Terrell Shannon, ans Randall Richardson; three aunts Mattie R. Jackson, Baltimore, MD, Sophia T. Richardson, Albermarle, NC, and Agnes Richardson, New Haven CT,; additionally a host of other neices, nephews, great neices and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
