July 21, 1952 – April 12, 2019
Rayfield Coles, was the second child born to the late Blanche Coles
Johnson and the late Rayfield Butler. He was born on July 21, 1952 in
Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on April 12, 2019.
Rayfield, lovingly known as "Bae Ray or Ray" attend Baltimore City
Public Schools named Charles Hampton Senior High School (181).
Ray at a young age receive Christ and was baptized by Reverend Carter.
As a teenager/adult Ray worked at Praeses Bakery. He also had a
passion for interior and exterior landscaping craftsman and painting.
Bae Ray performed and finished each job wholeheartedly with love and
paSSIOn.
A very special one ofBae Ray's past life things to do was drink his beer
and soda while sitting or just hanging in the 1700 block of Calhoun
Street with his friends.
Rayfield grown up in the 70's, 80's and present, he would spend hours
enjoying music, gambling, roller skating and partying with his family
and friends. Fie was a sharp dresser, fun loving, kind-hearted, outspo-
ken, but a little feisty at times. But he was unconditionally loved by
everyone who met him. Ray touch the lives of many people young and
~d. .
He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Coles Johnson; father,
Rayfield Butler; daughter, Raeseanda Coles; nephew, Joseph Pitts; one
niece, Monica Coles; four aunts, Gloria, Marjorie, Heilda and Teresa
and for uncles, Raymond, Howard, James, and Payton.
He leaves to cherish in his memory: son, Rayfield Coles (sons mother,
late Paulette Blackwell) daughter mother Pandora Reeses Banes; three
grandkids, Amoria, Zoe and Quante; sister, Dolline Coles (kids, Stanton,
Mark, Patrice/Maurice Ellison and Latrice/Demond Robinson); brother,
Eric/Angie Coles (kids, Eric, Keisha, Tasha, Erica Edes, Sean/Renee
Coles Tyjuan Coles and Khia Coles and a host of other family and
friends, nieces and nephews, special friends, Gregory, Kevin, Stickes
and AI.
