Raymond P. Curry, Jr. was born to the late Raymond P. Curry, Sr. and Alice Lee Curry on May 15, 1948. He departed this life after a brief illness on August 5, 2016. He was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.

Raymond is a 1966 graduate of Douglass Senior High School. He married the mother of his children, Barbara, in May 1968. Shortly afterwards, he enlisted in the United States Army after the birth of his second child; where he served faithfully. Upon discharge, he returned home to be with his family and start his career with Monumental Trucking Company; until the business expired. From there he worked for a fragrance manufacturing company until his retirement. Raymond was remarried in 2000 to Arnetta "Peggy" Lucille Curry, who preceded him in death. The two of them raised their granddaughter "Weedie-Wee" as their own.

Raymond is proceeded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Alice; his older sister Irene. Those who cherish his memory: (Children) Sheila [Clarence], Vanessa [Timothy], Raymond III [Amy], George (Tracy), Jermaine (Tammie), Tyrone & five stepchildren. His grandchildren:

Tyvernica, Sierra (Eugene), Tysheka (Anthony), Clarence (Danyelle), Chantell, Jermaine, Joshua, Rockell, Ronae, George, Calrod, Jordan, and Amira; five great-grandchildren: Cameron, Tyler, Zachary, Chaise and Coi. His siblings Sam (Ioann), Ethel Mae (Carl), Glenn, George, Allen and Kim (Ronnie). A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an abundance of loving family and friends.
