Raymond James rogers was born on August25, 1943. He lived in Randallstown, Maryland for most of his life. He moved to the city when he was a young adult, where he worked, partied and had fun. He was a hard-worker. One day he met Doris Owens and they had five lovely children. He was a real family man. Nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family and friends and keeping smiles on their faces. One day he met the love of his life, Sakeena Thompson, they were married in June of 2005. Then he gained four more children to put smiles on their faces. the Lord called him home on September 13, 2012. He leaves behind; his wife, Sakeena Rogers; one sister, Joyce Smith; three brothers, William Rogers, Marvin Tyler and George Tyler; five children, Zina Owens, James Owens, Lakeshia Coleman, Shonda Rogers and Gregory Owens; four stepchildren, Haleema Hall, William Long III, Tamica Gaither and Taren Gaither; nine grandchildren, Anthony Harcum, Teirra Harcum, Tralishs Washington, Tyeisha Washington, Diamond Owens, Caprice Wilson, Dashon Hanna, Gregory Owens Jr., and Derreon Owens; three step-grandchildren, LaVon Hall, Ayla Long and Gavin Long; two great-grandchildren, Daria Wilson and Omarion Washington; and a host of other family and friends.
