Obituary

Born on August 14, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry Santiful and the late Katherine Bridgeford. She obtained her education through the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Walbrook Senior High School. She met and later married Raymond Parker in 1990 and settled in as a Nursing Assistant at Levidale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital where she remained for 9 years before retiring. Cookie always enjoyed being in the company of her family and friends. For hours at a time, she would laugh and talk with you bringing light to situations you couldn't see yourself through. But more importantly, she enjoyed spending every minute she could with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her grandchildren were her world; they could do no wrong in her eyes. She would laugh and play games with them for hours. The love and company of her grandchildren fueled her spirit daily. Cookie was always strong and strong willed. She was the one you could depend on in your time of need. So when Cookie took ill it was no surprise that she never complained. She focused on life and living and did just that every day until she was called home to her Lord. So it is with a light heart and a smile on her face that Cookie says fare well until I see you again to: her husband, Raymond Parker; father, Henry Santiful; 4 daughters, Katherine Bridgeford, Erica Bridgeford-Riddley; Desiree Bridgeford, and Tiffany Bridgeford; 1 son-in-law, Marvin Riddley; 9 grandchildren, De'Shon, Isaiah, Clarence, Ma'Kayla, Jaylen, Regina, Skye, Reign, and My' Air; 1 sister, Portia Hayes; 1 brother-in- law, David Hayes; 1 nephew, Marcus; 1 niece Portia; 1 aunt, Karen Brown; 2 uncles, Kevin Bridgeford and David Bridgeford; a loving companion, William McBride; life-long friends, James Hibber, Rebecca Rich, Kim Thompson, Rosalyn Keve, and Cheryl Garrett; and a host of family and friends.
