Renee Dougla s, daughter of the late Allen and Mattie Davis, was
born on August 31, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed
this life on July 11, 2018 after many lengthy illnesses.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School
System.

She was baptized at an early age at the formerly known
Doswell Temple, under the late Bishop James 1. Doswell. In
attending Doswell, Renee sang on the choir and ushered. She
loved the Lord and sharing His word. She enjoyed praise and
worship. While living in South Carolina, Renee attended
Redemption World Outreach where she sang, wrote and recorded
a song. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her
family and friends.

All Renee's cousins called her "Nae" until her passing. They loved
that she was always a joy to be around and a great inspiration
to others.

Renee was married to Fredrick Douglas Jr. and from that union
they were blessed with two sons, Fredrick Douglas III and Jonathan
Douglas. She also leaves to mourn: Janie Tomlin (aunt by marriage)
who she acknowledged as Momma and a host of other relatives and
friends.

Renee had a glowing smile that touched everyone she came in
contact with. Once you were in her company you had lasting
memories. She was a wonderful person who was always willing
to help you. Renee made numerous friends everywhere she went
and will be sincerely missed.
