It is with great sadness that the family of Rhonda Millicent Upshur announce her passing on, November 28,2019. Christwelcomed Rhonda with bigopen arms and she was calledtobuild up his kingdom inGlory.

A native of Baltimore, MD, Mrs.Rhonda Millicent Upshur, was bornonFebruary5,1966,tothelateMr.& Mrs. JohnA.and MaryE.YatesSr.

Rhonda, was educated in the Baltimore City School System earning herhighschool diploma at Baltimore's finest high school, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, graduating June of 1984.

She loved her family very much. During her later years in high school,she cared for her elderly aunt with dementia (whom has preceded her in death.) After graduating high school, she worked as Geriatric Nursing Assistantat Stella Morris Nursing facility and then ontowork at a warehouse plantin Baltimore's Westport Areaasa Warehouse Associate. Rhonda ended her employment outside the hometostay home and care for her brother, Richard A.Yates and then eventually caring for both of her parents. Although, caring for family Rhonda still maintained her roleasa wife and as a great momto Brandon&Troy. She truly loved "her boys"iswhat she always called them, and was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.

Rhonda believed and loved the Lord with all her heart and all her soul. She was known to have kept a bible at her side, highlighting scriptures with hand written messages of what it meanttoher. Rhonda enjoyed: completing latch-hook kits and listeningtoa variety o f music. She, even had the opportunityto attend an Anita Baker concert with her sister, Sheila. Rhonda, adored Garfield the big orange fat cat and his best friend Odie, but dogs were ultimately her favorite.

Forever rememberedby:her husband, Brian Upshur; two sons, Brandon (Ariel) and Troy; Parents, JohnA.& MaryE.Yates,SR.(whom has preceded her in death); three siblings, SheilaA.Crudup (John), JohnA.Yates, Jr., and RichardA.Yates (whom has preceded her death); four nieces, Danita, Adell, Nakeysha (Brian) and Tyneisha; two great nephews,Justin(Naomi) and Jaylen; one great niece, Jaya; best friend, Sonja Willoughby and three god-children, Arie, Aaron and Jalisa and a host of other friends and relatives.
