Rhonda Yolanda Whisonant was born to Harrison Bowie and Christine Singletery on October 15, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. Rhonda departed this life on December 20,2017 after a lengthy illness.

Rhonda was raised in Baltimore city and attended the public school system. She was employed for many years for the Veterans Administration, working at various VA hospitals in Nutrition and Food service.

Rhonda was married to Gregory Whisonant, that union produced two children Denea and Gregory Jr. Rhonda later had two other children Stacey Taylor Clea and Rodney Bowie.

She leaves to mourn: Husband, Gregory; Mother, Christine Singleterry; Father, Harrison Bowie; Children, Denea and Gregory Whisonant, Stacey Clea (Alonya) and Rodney Bowie; Four brothers, Harrison Bowie Jr., Jeryl Singleterry, Sabe Singleterry, Craig Singleterry (Sandy), stepfather William Hudson, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death three siblings Daryl Sin- gleterry, China Palmer, and Renee Furr.
