RICHARD DONEL BOONE (Doney), son of the late Robert Levern Boone and Virginia Maynell Boone, was born on April 29, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. Doney departed this life on November 30,2014 after a brief battle with cancer. Doney received his formal education in the Baltimore City School system. He attended Northwestern High School and later received his GED certificate. He also earned a certificate as a Master Mechanic from the State of Maryland. He received his spiritual teachings at Spirit of Truth Church of God in Christ. He later attended Miracle Deliverance Evangelistic Center Campus where he trained as a deacon under the late founder, Bishop Joseph C. Barnes. Doney had a great love for all types of music and he had a great love of family and children. He was very warm and greeted you with a smile and hug whenever he saw you. He was sensitive and caring and enjoyed helping people in need. He had a great sense of humor, often coming up with funny sayings. Doney loved working on cars, playing pool, watching football games and cooking. He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his mother, Virginia Maynell Boone; father figure, Edward Livingston; grandmother, Elizabeth Chaney; three children, Jannelle Boone, Donnelle Boone, and Destiny Williams; one child like a son, Hollis Anderson; five brothers and sisters, Robert Lee Boone, Patricia Samuels, Annette Boone-Carey, Debra Boone-Hines, and Pamela Boone; one brother-in-law, Tyrone Carey; eight nieces and nephews, Robert Lee Boone II, Lauren Boone, Karla Samuels, Paula Smith, Dayron Arnold, Charles Hines, Devin Hines, and Breayona Butler; a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends; his loving companion Sharnet Brown; and his best friend Eric HE" Lyles.
