Richard Ernest Cooper, beloved son of the late Benjamin E. and Cora B. Hawkins, was born on June 10, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Sunday, January 28, 2007, after a legnthy illness. Richard, best known as ''Skip'' by family and friends, received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He later went to work for the city with the parks and recreation department. he also worked for Windsor Mills Corporation at the time of his death. Skip was well liked and respected by many. He was very outspoken and always in a hurry. He'll be greatly missed. On October 30, 2000 he married Daisy M. Brown. Skip leaves to mourn: his wife, Daisy Cooper; son, Richard E. Cooper Jr.; daughter, Terrica Underewood; two sisters, Beatrice B.
