Rickey Jerome Cole, the son of the late Jessie and Brilt Cole, was born on July

2, 1954, in Sanford, North Carolina. He departed this life on February 16, 2024.

Rickey received his education in Olivia, North Carolina at Ben Haven High School. Following his high school years, he embarked on his professional journey, beginning with employment at GNK Auto Components manufacturing company. Later, Rickey made the decision to relocate to Maryland, where he dedicated 36 years of service at Stella Maris. Preceded him in death his parents Jessie and Brilt Cole and two brothers Jimmy and Jessie Cole and 1 nephew Desmond Cole.

Rickey, a beloved figure, cherished his role as an uncle, treating his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. His warm demeanor made everyone endear him, especially once· he opened up to chem. Rickey found joy in simple pleasures, such as football, tending to his lawn, and caring for his family. He was deepIy loved by his wife, Debra Cole, and by the colleagues he worked alongside.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra, and his 4 step-children: Traon Alexander, Troy Alexander, Rasheem Parris, and Ebony Parris. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Taylor, Talyon, Iveon, Traon, Kali, and Reign. Rickey is remembered fondly by his sisters, Effie and Beatrice Cole Bowens, and his three brothers: Larry Cole, Navarro (Johnna) Cole, and Michael (Audrey) Cole. His three aunts: Patricia (Robert) Newby, Constance Jacobs, and Rev. Dr. Edith Cole, his five nieces: Carol B. Cole, Metrina B. Gibbs, Latosha C. Cole, Brittaney A. Cole, and Navonna S. Cole, as well as his three nephews: Dr. Keith O. McNcill, Jimanda D. Gibbs, and Jaquan M. Cole.

Rickey leaves behind clirce great nieces, two great nephews, and two great­ great nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins and friends who will all cherish his memory.

Rickey's memory forever lives on in the hearts of chose who knew him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were touched by his kindness and love.
