Rise Collins was the first child born to the late Harry and Grace
Collins.

Rise was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System.

At an early age Rise became a domestic worker. Rise always loved
listening to opera music and became an opera singer in the year of 1950,
and had performed at many places especially in the churches.

Rise was a person that was always ready and willing to help anyone
who needed help.

Rise leaves to mourn: sisters, Dorothy Anderson and Barbara Thorton;
Michell Laws; one cousin, Leona Thompson and a host of nieces,
nephews and friends.
