Obituary

Rita Michele Sampson, also known as Kim, was a woman of great valor and grace. She was born on the morning of July 31, 1966 to Ella and the late George Sampson. From the beginning her parents knew she would be special. She graduated from Western High School in 1984 with great honors. She was accepted at Towson University and Coppin State College, but instead of attending classes in the fall, she went to work at the National Security Agency NSA; this was the beginning of a 22 year year career. During her years at the NSA, she brought a bright smile and joyous personality to those she worked with. Besides being a workaholic, she dedicated herself and time to serving the Lord and being a member of Revelation Baptist Church. At an early age, she knew what it meant to love the Lord and accepted Christ as her Saviour at the age of 15. Many years later she became the church secretary and chior director. She has touched all those who come to know her at Revelation and she did it with a smile humble heart. Whenever Rita had a moment alone you could catch her curled up and lost in a book. She tremendously enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; these moments she never took for granted. She was the prime example of humnility, beauty and most important LOVE. Rita leaves behind; a mother Ella Sampson; a sister, Terri Maker; a brother, ricky Sampson; a sister-i n-law, Michelle Sampson; host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
