Roan was known to everyone who knew and loved himas"Nitty".Hereceived his educationinWest Virginia, Douglas High School.Aftergraduating hejoinedthe Air Forcestationedin Wyoming thendeployed toGermany. Roan served eight years and washonorablydischargedfrom histourofduty. He thenjoinedhis family inBaltimore,Marylandwhere heworked severaljobsduring his lifetime such as, London Fog Factory,AAICorporation, American Smelt Company,3900Tri Star Managementasa supervisorfor automotive division until heretired.

Roan hadaloving wife, Susan Hycheuntilthey divorced. Roanhadaloving relationship with his only son, RoanJustusNoble Jr., hisnephews Toby,Roakie and Pee Wee, stepdaughter, KarenJohnsonspecialcompanionLawanda McCory.

Roan leaves to cherish his memory: one son,RoanJustus Noble Jr.;onedaughter, BrandonNoble Barrowanother daughterwho preceded him indeath,SharicaNoble;stepdaughter,Karen Johnson;one stepsonwho alsoprecededhimindeath Gregory Buie; fivegrandchildren,ShakeyaBrooks,JeremyHopkins, RoanJustus NobleIII,QuinnBarrow and AdaJeanBarrow;one son-in-law, Donavan Barrow; three specialnephews,BennyB.K.A."Toby", JonathanLee B.K.A."PeeWee" Roan CalvmB.K.A-"Roakie"alsoRoan's godson; three special nieces,SalimahShabazz,CathyDozier, TowandaGreenFoster; one brother,NathanielNobleJr.B.K.A.
