IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Fayall
November 26, 1944 – August 30, 2025
A Time to Be Born
Robert Lee Fayall was born on November 26,1944 to the late Brutus and Beaulah Middleton Fayall in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He was called home on August 30, 2025, at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, after a brief illness, which caused him to pass away.
A Time of Faith
Robert Lee gave his life to Christ. At an early age, he was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church in South Carolina. Robert Lee loved the Lord, and he showed it. He was a faithful and godly member of Lively Worship Center, where he served on the Deacon Board under the leadership of Felicia Bell Waters. As a devoted member, he performed many tasks, from opening doors to cutting the grass.
A Time to Grow
Robert attended and received his education in the public school system of Berkeley County, South Carolina. He was very skilled with his hands, which led him to do various jobs. Robert Lee moved to Baltimore in the early 1960s for better opportunities. For 45 years, he was employed at the Nelson Company, which was a supplier for Bethlehem Steel, until he reached full retirement.
A Time to Love
Robert Lee, affectionately known as (Robert) Or (Rob), was a loving and caring man and father. He would always put the needs of others before himself. His greatest joy in life was when his daughter Teaira was born in 1974. Robert enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether it was dancing, eating, talking, or just lying around watching his Westerns on TV. This is what made him happy.
Time to Depart
Those who preceded him in death include seven brothers: Cleveland Fayall, Alonzo Fayall, Oscar Lee Fayall, Ollie Lee Fayall, Levi Fayall, Walter Fayall Sr., and Elroy Fayall Sr.; and two sisters: Queen Esther Hartwell and Lu Bertha Washington.
Time to Mourn
Robert Lee leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Teaira Funderburk: three brothers, John Arthur (Pauline) Fayall, Lee William Fayall, and Nolie (Daisy) Fayall; one sister, Johnnie Ruth (Robert) Sumpter; one best longtime friend, Robert (Terry) Moore; and a host of other family and friends.
