Robert Lee Ferrell affectionately known as Ferrell by his friends was born to the late Joseph and Catherine Ferrell on February 1, 1943 in Kinston was educated in the Baltimore Public School System. He enrolled in vocational trainig and became experienced in tailoring, a trade he enjoyed. He was always well groomed and well dressed. Robert met and married his devoted wife, Beverly Reed Ferrell over 40 years ago. To this union, three daughters were born; Ginine, Kathy and Lynnette. One of his favorite hobbies was meeting his friends at the poolroom to play pool. Among his many artistic talets and hobbis were singing, paying baseball and basketball. In his early adulthood, he formed a group with his friends and brothers and started singing on the corners under the streelight. Robert enjoyed spending private time with his wife Beverly watching their favorite television shows, dining, taking drives through the city and countryside as well as spending time with his grandchildren During Ferrell's work years, he was employed by Westinghouse, Ft. Holabird, and Dupont. We thank the Lord for blessing us with Robert. Today, we celebrate his life. Good night Robert and take your rest. Derrick Reed Casette, S.C., Preston, William, James, and Debery of Baltimore, three sisters-in-law, Gloria, Kelly, and Roberta; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
