Robert Lee Herbert, son of the late Richard D. and Mary E. Herbert was born on May 2nd, 1942 in Howard county, Maryland. He departed his life on March 15th, 2015 at Future Care Center. He was preceded in death by Bridget Herbert (daughter), Karen Herbert(daughter). Fred Herbert (brother), Bessie Turk(sister), Henrietta McCray(sister), Mary Poole(sister). He received his education in the Howard County Public School System and attended Harriet Tubman High School. He was employed with Bethlehem Steel Company in Sparrows Point, Maryland where he became a foreman until he retired and became self-employed as a brick layer until his health began to fail. He was affectionately known as Rob and Pop-pop. He loved to deer and rabbit hunt with his friends. He also loved to spend time fishing with his wife (Ruby Herbert). To know Rob or Pop-pop is to love him ifhe wasn't cussing you out or putting you out of his house then you know he didn't love you. Robert Lee loved all his grandchildren and great grandchildren especially: Fatrina Holloway, she was more of a daughter than a granddaughter to him. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherished memory his wife and soul mate Ruby Herbert, three granddaughters (Shannon, Ciera, and Shan ell) and two grandsons (Brandon and Michael). Six step children (Veronica & Oscar Sparrow, Barbara & Anthony Williams, Ernest & Michelle Holloway, Phillip & Lisa Holloway, Larry & Garry Holloway). One brother (Richard Herbert). Two sisters (Edna Carey jLewis & Shirley Herbert). Lastly a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Viewing Joseph H.
