Obituary

Robert Lee Parks, son of the late Bernice Wilson and Clyde Willie Parks
Sr. was born on July 7, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a lengthy
illness the Lord saw fit and called him home on July 12,2018.

Robert spent his life in Baltimore while being education in the Baltimore
City School System. He then went on to serve in the Army until his
discharge in 1972. After serving he went on to serve the City of Baltimore
working for the City's Park and Recreation Department for more than 25
years, receiving many certificates and honors along the way. He was
honored in 2006 for serving in the U.S. Army at the War Memorial
Building along side fellow soldiers who also served.

In 2010 Bow as people often called him, retired from the City. He had
many hobbies from walking to Burger King at 6 a.m. in the morning for
breakfast and coffee, to listening to music videos, sports were his favorite.
He would often set on the front to catch a cool breeze or just a good
conversation.

To know him was to love him. Bow will truly be missed by so many
friends and love ones.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Bernice; father, Clyde and two
sisters, Francine and Clarisse Parks.

He leaves to cherish his memories: five sisters, Shirley Parks, Thelma Lee
Parks, Jocelyn Taylor, Linda Gray of Pikesville, MD, and Terri Morrow
of Springfield, Massachusetts; one brother, Clyde Willie Parks Jr. of
Virginia; two children, daughter, Tanier Parks and son, Robert Lee Parks
Jr.; one nephew, Frank Bryant; three nieces, Tyre Bryant, Deanna Taylor,
and Linneare Taylor; nine grandchildren, Akili, Ebony, Aaliyah, Stanford,
Shaniera, Robert Parks III, Damion, Lekisha, and Lil Gail; nine great
grands, Samaya, Dontel, Raymond, Andre, Shantay, Jade, Donell; one
great great grand, Lyric; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives
and friends; and a very special significant other of 40 years, Gail McCray
(Gay).
