On May 26, 2013, Robert "Bobby" Schools peacefully departed this life at the Loch Raven Veteran Administration Community Living and Rehabilitation Center. He was the son of the late Clayton and Vera Schools. Robert was born in Baltimore, MD on February 3, 1948. Robert graduated from Fredrick Douglas High School in 1966. He also attended Morgan State University until he was drafted in the United States Army in 1969. After returning home, he sold cars professionally for many years and later operated an auto insurance agency. The Lord called him to the ministry and was ordained a Bishop in 1 979. He pastored The Lord's House of Prayer until his illness for 30 years. He was a gifted basketball player, entrepreneur and business owner, quick-witted people person who loved to talk, and devoted man of God who raised six beautiful daughters alongside Debra. Robert is survived by his wife Debra Schools of 37 years, daughters: Avareena Cropper, Vernetta Schools, Sabitha Schools, Lorjetta Schools, Kibeauzeta Schools, Paupetrius Schools, son-in-law Rondell Cropper, sister Mabel Schools, brother Clayton Schools, grandson Garrin Hinton, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Robert's son, Darrin Brett, preceded him in death. Robert was a loving father, brother, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
