Roberta Jean Coles was born in Port Norris, New Jersey on May 5, 1945 to the late William Spence and Gladys Taylor. She accepted Christ at an early age. Roberta was educated at New Jersey Public School System. She later reached her goal of receiving her G.E.D. Other than her family, that was one of her greatest achievements. She was proud to be employed and retired by Baltimore County Public School System. Roberta was preceded in death by one brother Morris Taylor and one sister Louise Spence. She is survived by her husband James Herbert Coles, daughter Theresa Ann and son James Coles of Baltimore, four sisters Emma Pearl, Pearlinda Walton, Dorcas Taylor, Goldie Saunders, and one brother Samuel Taylor.
