Obituary

Robin Yvette Clay, beloved daughter of the late William and Barbara Clay,

was born on August 30, 1958 in Baltimore Maryland. She peacefully departed

this life to be with her savior on May 13,2019, after a lengthy illness.

She received her education in Baltimore City Public School System. After

receiving her education, she took that knowledge and developed it into life's

skills. She volunteered as an election poll worker for over a decade.

In the late seventies, she met and dated Curtis Bailey, from this union her only

son, Lamont Bailey was born. She later met her life partner and devoted friend,

Waverly Jennings whom remained by her side through her last days. Robin

loved her son, Lamont and granddaughter, Amya very much and was a

devoted partner, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Affectionately known as "Honey" to family and close friends, Robin enjoyed

reading a good book and watching western movies. Robin also loved her

fashions and enjoyed cooking and eating a good meal, (especially good crabs).

I'm sure she and her two siblings that preceded her are enjoying a good feast

as we speak. Her contagious smile and laughter would fill a room. Even

though she's left us behind to mourn our loss we can look to the heavenly sky's

knowing that she went victoriously to meet her heavenly father. We hold in

truth that there will always be a ribbon in the sky for our love for her.

Robin, even though she was non-denominational, she held steadfast to her up

bringing and faith in God. She was last heard making a statement to her

lifetime companion, Waverly that she thanked God for allowing her to reach

the age 60. While her life's light has been dimmed, it will continue to shine

brightly through those she has touched. She will truly be missed by all who

knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death: (Brother), Gary Casey and (Sister) Sylvia Clay. She

leaves to rejoice in her memory: (son), Lamont Bailey, (granddaughter), Amya

Bailey, (sister), Darlene Clay, (aunts) Josephine and Gertrude, longtime com-

panion and caregiver, Waverly Jennings, and loving cousin and care giver

Sheila Peele, and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
