IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robinette Faith
Valentine
December 17, 1945 – November 18, 2025
ROBINETTE FAITH VALENTINE-RANDOLPH , daughter of the late James B. Valentine and Phyllis E. Valentine, was born on December 17, 1945, and peacefully departed this life on November 18, 2025.
Robinette was born and raised in Baltimore City's Zone "17," spending her early years on Druid Hill Avenue, Fulton Avenue, and later Madison Avenue. She received her education through the Baltimore City Public School System and later attended Baltimore City Community College, where she studied Business Administration.
She devoted many years of service working in several Baltimore hospitals—including Sinai, University, and Bon Secours—where she excelled as a Unit Clerk. In 1965, she married the love of her life Arthur Randolph whom she spent several years with. She was blessed with two daughters, Vernette and Rayetta. Robinette was a longtime member of New Shiloh Baptist Church.
Robinette was truly the life of the party. Known across the city for her bold and unforgettable personality, she always spoke her mind and could make you laugh even when you were the one being "laid out." A natural comedian, she brought humor, energy, and a loving presence wherever she went.
She served as the neighborhood mother and grandmother, always ready to babysit or help anyone in need. Over the years she gained countless "neighborhood daughters and sons," all of whom she loved and adored as if they were her own. She treasured reading letters and receiving pictures from her cousin Cecilia, exchanging birthday and holiday cards with her siblings, collecting coins, and sharing a special love for her "Big John'—if you know, you know.
