RODNEY ANTONIO BROWN, son of the late Ruth D. Pender and the late William T. Brown Sf. was born on June 15, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 23, 2013. Rodney received his education from the Baltimore City Public School System. He met and married the love of his life Darleeta Brown. Rodney was loved by everyone. Everyone that came in contact with him knew that he would give you his last. lovingly known as "Tony", {(Monk" or "Unc" by his family and friends, he enjoyed dancing and raising his pigeons. He also loved washing cars. He ran the neighborhood car wash for over twenty years. All he wanted to do was wash cars whether it was on a sunny day or the coldest day. He devoted his time and energy to making sure every client was satisfied. After a series of small jobs, he became employed at Shapiro and Whitehouse until an injury prevented him from working. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Ruth D. Pender; devoted stepfather, Albert H. Braxton; father, William T. Brown Sr., two brothers, Reginald A. Braxton and Ronald A. Brown; and godfather, Charles Shipley. Rodney leaves to mourn: his wife, Darleeta Brown; three brothers, William Brown [r. (Iris), Roy Brown (Michele), and Willard Brown (Regina); three sisters, Lavinia Hynson, Catherine Brown, and Ruth Brown-Rascoe (Wayne); four uncles, five aunts, two great-aunts, four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends including one special friend, Mrs. Hattie.
