Rodney was born on June 14th 1964, in Baltimore Maryland to the late George Louis Hendricks and Gertrude Lomax. He departed this life suddenly on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Rodney, affectionately known as Brussells by friends and loved ones, attended Baltimore city public schools and was an excellent student always making his Mom proud by getting good grades. He always had a great personality and loved having fun cracking jokes and laughing, making everyone around him feel comfortable and welcome. Rodney was always a people person with a generous heart. Always ready to lend a hand and assist anyone. In short, it can be said that Brussells has never met a stranger.  Throughout his life, he moved around the country living in several different states and he left a positive light with everyone he came into contact with. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his children, Jovan Hendricks, Candace Hendricks, Maquita Kennedy, Justin Hendricks, Jordan Hendricks, Malysha Hendricks and Isabella Hendricks. As well as his siblings George L. Hendricks, Yolanda Hendricks, Robin Hendricks, Pandora Hendricks, Adrienne Hendricks, Whitney Hendricks, and Deborah Hendricks.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Brenda Drake and Dereck Hendricks.

In addition to his beautiful grandchildren, Rodney leaves to mourn a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, his lifelong best friend Robert Rogers, and his loving and devoted fiancée' Iilean Gibson.

May the light that he shared with us all never be diminished.
