Rodney Lewis, Sr. was born on June 17, 1954 to Bertina T. Lewis and the late Isaiah Lewis. He was suddenly taken away from us on Wednesday, september 30, 2009. Rodney or "Threes," as he wasfondly knnown, received jhis education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. At a very young age Rodney joined and faithfully attended The Christian Temple Faith Church under the leadership of Reverend Izell and Elaine S. Crup. It was no small thing for him to particcipate in all youth activies. rodney found himself working in the summer pprograms at the Social Security Administration Headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. Additionally, among his various skills, carpentry, and landscaping ranked tops. Rodney met Patricia Craig. They married in 1981, and out of this union two children were born. After that union ended, Rodney later met and married Angelus Johnson on May 1, 2003. From this union came eleven foster children, and fourteen grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, Rodney was faithfully involved in all of his children's academic and recreational activies. He was s proud father and grandfather. He also enjoyed working along with Brother Walter Larkins of the Men's Ministry at colonial baptist church with the youth. Rodney was well liked and strongly respected. Always making you laugh with a joke, a trick, or some type of story, Rodney will truly by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father Isaiah Lewis, brother Reginal Lewis and nephew Terrell J. Morsell. Rodney leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, angelus Johnson; mother, Bertina T. Lewis; four biological children, rodney Jr., Tamieka, Cynnamon and Isaiah; ten foster children, brandon, JW, Lynnette, Chiquita, Angelus, Eric, Cecelia, Vonika, Anthony, and Antonio; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen siblings, gwendolyn, Carolyn Duanne, Lanier, Debra Anthony, Kevin, Keith Vanessa, Shawn, Lynetta, Donna, Frederick Rhonda, Yvette, Angerle, Wesley Stacy and Brain Nirobia; sisters-inlaw, Saunda Earl, Chenita, Sylvia Vernon; brother-in-law, Samuel Johnson; twenty-seven nieces, nephews uncle, Irvin; four aunts, Mae Colfield, Glenda Favor, Garnette Colfield and Shirley Thomas; a host of other relatives and friends.
