Rogena Ann Harvey, was born on October 24, 1960 to Bessies Mae Harvey and Charles Gunn. She was the youngest of eight. She was preceded in death by her father Charles, brother John, sister Carey; also lifelong friend Jacqueline Davis. Jean, as she was affectionaly known, grew up in South Baltimore. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She was employed at Sinai Hospital for a short while in the Dietary Department and then on to the Burkshire Conference Center where she remained until shortly after her illness. Jean was well known for her Wisdom & Strength. A quiet and private person at times... But once given her signature "Jack Daniels" she could quickly become the life of the party. She was a Lover of Good Music. Her favorite songs being Montel Jordan's hit "This Is How We Do It', Luther Vandross' "Superstar/Until You Come Back To Me" and Jaheim's "JUst In Case' just to name a few. She was a caring person with a Heart of Gold. Above All Else, she was a Great Mother and Grandmother. Jeffers, partner of 28 years; Mother-in-law Ellen Jeffers, Sisters-in-law Ellen and Paula; Brother-in-law Lapoleon Ricky Thomas, Rick, Corbin Junebug Anthony, Robert and Teddy; Lifelong friend/brother Samuel Carroll, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
