Romanda Lee Young, son of Iletha White and David Young, Jr., was born on November 23, 1970 and on March 27, 2012, he was called home after an untimely death. Romanda was affectionately known as "Daddy," to his family and friends and was a life long resident to the community of Pumphrey. Romanda received his education at the Anne Arundel County Public school System. After graduating from Brooklyn Park High School he attended a Vocational Technical School, where he became a Brick Mason. He was employed with the Phoenix Builder Group. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age as his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed praising the Lord in songs and could recite a verse from the bible by memory. His hobbies were singing gospel songs and rapping about the Lord. He also enjoyed skateboarding and most of all being in the presence of family and friends. He was always willing to help others. He leaves to cherish his fondest memory; his mother, Iletha White; his father, David Young, Jr.; son, Brian Young; sisters, Althea Barnes Patterson, Brenda Wilson and Darlene Summers; brothers Lawnence, Wayne and Darrell Young; grandmother, Leila Artis; stepfather, John White; nephews, Warren Barnes and Darryl Young; special friends, Barbara, Marion, Sharon, James Dale and Linwood; special cousins, Frances Young and Janel Towes; and a host of family and friends.
