Ronald ''Ronnie'' Drummond Sr. son of the late Spencer Drummond Jr. and Sylvia Drummond was bor on October 10, 1955. He departed this life on June 18, 2007, after a lengthy illness. He was educated in Baltimore City Public School System and received his diploma from Frederick Douglas Senior High School. He married the former Francine Saunders and out of this union two children were born, Ronald Jr. and Monique. At the age of 18, he entered the United States Army. He reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. His military duty in the Army included Helicopter Mechanic and Supply Clerk. He spent most of his service stationed at Ft. Meade but did serve a tour in Egypt. He was honorably discharged in 1991. Ronny had a great sense of humor. This sense of humor afforded him the opportunity to make numerous friends wherever he went. He was always a true friend and maintained contact with many of his childhood friends. He was devoted family man and great father. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn; his wife of thirty-four years, Francine; two children, Ronald Jr. and Monque Vaughn; son=in-law, Andre Vaughn; mother, Sylvia Drummond; mother-in-law, Arlene Saunders; three grandchildren, Jasmine, Jahsol and Jahnae; sister, Sharon Wallace; four brothers-in-law, Joseph Saunders of Rice, Virginia, James Saunders, Dorsey Saunders and George Faulkerner all of Baltimore, Maryland; five sisters-in-law, Nancy Saunders of Rice, Virginia, Barbara Hdamlin, Janet Faulkner, Pauline ASaunders and Rhonda Saunders all of Baltimore, Maryland; aunt, Roberta Harrison-Bennett; two uncles, thomas Bennett and Clifton Bennett; a special buddy, Jazia ''Big Bird'' Lamore; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
