IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald N.
Lewis
February 14, 1950 – November 1, 2016
The second child of the late William & Jean Lewis, Ronald Nathaniel Lewis was born on February 14, 1950.
Many knew him as "Ronnie" or "Bo-Lucky" because of his bow legs and because he was lucky. Ronnie prided himself on being a ladies' man since he was born on Valentine's Day.
Ronnie grew up in Baltimore City and was educated in Baltimore city schools. He was a 1968 graduate of Edmondson High School and shortly after graduation, he was employed at Carr Lowry Glass Company where he worked for several years.
Though he spent a good deal of his life in Baltimore, Ronnie spent the majority of his time in Milton, Delaware where he held various jobs. The best thing you need to know about Ronnie is that he gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1984 while attending St. John's Second Baptist Church in Millsboro, Delaware.
He enjoyed watching sports, TV court shows and listening to the oldies but goodies. His favorite song was II Always and Forever" by Heatwave.
Ronnie left Delaware and moved back to Baltimore two years ago. He was well liked at Weinberg Place Senior Housing where he spent the last year of his life. He will most be remembered for his witty responses and his favorite phrase "I can do that, 'cause I paid for it!"
After a brief illness, God called Ronnie home on November 1, 2016. His legacy includes his two sisters (Barbara English and Patricia Bali); 2 brothers-in-law (Kenneth English and Theodore Bali); 3 children (Shanell Ajiborode, Ronald Lewis, Jr., and Jamal Tavon Lewis); 1 grandson (Oluwatobi Ajiborode); 2 uncles (Oluyemi Omowale and Richard Lewis); 1 aunt (LaDoris Lewis); 1 niece (Shontelle Capers); 2 nephews (Tejon Parker and Theodore Ball, Jr.); 3 great nephews and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
