Roanld P. Roane, son of Susie White and the late Gilbert Davis was born on March 30, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on April 1, 2008 suddenly. He received his education at Baltimore City College. He held several jobs. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in August of 1966. He was discharged with honors in November 1969 receiving the Purple Heart and Medal of Valor. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He later joined Shiloh Christian Community Church. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Jacqueline Roane; mother, Susie White; sons, Ronald and Andre'; daughters, Ayesha and Tiffany; granddaughters, Mevan, Donnesha and Aleisha; grandsons, Donnell and D'Andre; four brothers, Herbert White, Phillip, Edmond and Donald Davis; four sisters, Louise Snell, Shirlely Clark, Deborah Johnson and Yvonne Brown; three uncles, Dr. Donald Roane, Dr. Phillip Roane and Arthur Roane; three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, two aunts-in-law, many nieces, nephews, a long time companion, Mary Williams and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Gilbert Jr., Earl and Maceo Davis and three sisters, Catherine Orsenic, Alice McNutt and Doris Tolliver.
