Ronald D. SpriggsRonnie departed this life on October 2, 2009 at Ellicott City Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Ellicott City MD, after a lengthy illness. Ronnie surrendered his life to Christ and was a lifetime member of John Wesley United Methodist Chuch, Glen Burnie, MD. He was also a member of their gospel choir. Ronnie was educated in the Anne Arundel and Howard County School systems. After graduating from Olde Mill High School, he became a dispatcher for the Maryland State Police. When illness took over, Ronnie started working as a school bus driver. His love for children made this necessary career change enjoyable for him. In his spare time and before her untimely death he and his mother enjoyed bowling, hand dancing and playing cards. The absolute highlight of Ronnie's life was the birth and life of his only child Ronald Christopher Spriggs, fondly known to his daddy as "piglet". Ronnie is preceded in death by his son Ronald Christopher Spriggs, his mother Carolyn Randall, and his sister Stephanie Foster. He leaves to cherish and celebrate his life: A devoted sister, Towanda Spriggs; Hill; a brother, Christopher Spriggs; a father, Ronald W. Spriggs; grandparents, James and Olivia Spriggs; Aunts, Brenda Williams and Frances Spriggs; uncles, James and Robert Spriggs, David Williams; brother-in-laws, Michael Hill, Jerome Foster; sister-in-law, Tracy Spriggs and a host of relatives and dear friends too numerous mention. m
