Ronnie was born on March 2, 1955 in Prince William County Virginia. Ronnie
was the 4th child of Russell J. Tibbs, Sr. and Sadie V. Tibbs.
At a young age Ronnie attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Catharpin,
Virginia under Rev. Spencer Coleman where he received Jesus as his Savior.
He attended Loudoun and Prince William County Public Schools. Ronnie
continued his education at James Madison University in Harrisburg, VA, where
he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
After graduating he moved to Baltimore, MD to teach. While in Baltimore
he met his long time Friend and Life Partner Charles also known as Rudie to
most. Ronnie was a educator and loved to teach. He taught at Southern High,
Southwestern High and Douglass High School just to mention a few until his
retirement from the Baltimore City School System.
Ronnie was an all around sweet and loving person. If you had the pleasure
of knowing Ronnie AKA Mr. Ron you know he loved his music and his
crafting. If he wasn't singing he was making or spicing up something.
Ronnie departed this life on February 26,2016 at his home in Baltimore, MD.
He will be missed by all that knew him.
He leaves behind to mourn: His Life Partner, Charles Hadley {Rudie}, 1 pet
{child} Spike Hadley-Tibbs both of Baltimore, MD; 2 brothers, Russell 1. Tibbs
Jr. and Larry E. Tibbs; 1 sister, Sadie Mozee; 2 sisters-in-laws all of Manassas
