Roosevelt A. Connor was born in Petersburg, VA on December 6,
1939 to the late Salvinia Connor and Fannie Connor. Roosevelt received his
education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Roosevelt grew up in
a very close knit and happy family where he received spiritual and practical
guidance from his loving aunt LeeAnna Jossey who raised him and his
brothers after the death of their parents. After a short battle with sickness he
had a heart attack. Roosevelt loved Shirley his wife of 43 years, his children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also dearly loved his sister and
his brothers. Roosevelt worked for Baltimore County School System for 25
years . He was loved and honored by his friends and co-workers. Roosevelt
loved watching football, he loved coaching baseball, eating, listening to
music, playing music and spending time with his family. Roosevelt is
preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his sons Kevin, Robert, Gary and his
daughter Carolyn.

He leaves to mourn his, 2 sons Terry White Sr., and Keith Rivers
Sr.,3 daughters Phyllis Dixon, Denise Simmons, and Jacqueline Clark, 2
sons - in - law Charles Dixon and Danny Simmons, 16 grandchildren and 27
great grandchildren. There are a host of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives
and friends too numerous to mention.
