Roosevelt Donald Davis, Jr., son of the late Roosevelt Davis and
Alma Clardy, was born on August 6, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland.
He departed this life on December 4, 2018 .

He was known by family and friends as "Butch ". He was raised
in the Cherry Hill and Baltimore City until the age of 13 when his
family moved to Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from East
Anchorage High School in 1966.

After high school, Butch was drafted into the Army where he served
in the Vietnam War for 4 years. Upon his discharge from the service,
he worked for the State of Maryland for a number of years as a
electrician and seven
years of outstanding and dedicated service to Spring Grove Hospital
Center where he retired from in 1995.

Butch loved sports, especially football, but he loved his Orioles even
more . Whenever they were playing, he would not talk to you on the
phone unless you were watching the game too!

He leaves to mourn: SOli, Donald Davis IlL deceased son , Terrence;
brothers: Charles , deceased, Calvin, Tyrone, Michael (Jeanette) ,
Antwan (Tara) , and sisters , Roszetta (Roger) Ryan, and Annachella
and a host of other relatives and friends.
