On Wednesday, May 14, 2014, our beloved mother, Rosalee Franklin, was called from this earth to glory after a long illness. Rosalee Franklin, the daughter of the late Ethel Wilson and James Joyner, was born on May 16, 1931, in Baltimore, MD. Rosalee received her formal education in the Baltimore Public School System. She was a dedicated member of The Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin, where she received the Outstanding Episcopal Church Woman award. During her leisure time, Rosalee enjoyed crocheting and made many scarves, blankets, hats, etc. Rosalee worked at City Hospital and for the Craig Garfield Family until retiring in 1991. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Charlotte Alford; three sons James Harold, Leslie Harold, and Harry Franklin (Michele); one sister, Roberta Graham; one cousin Olivia Weems; grandchildren, Robert, Towanda, Norman, Marvin, James "Man," Dawntanya, Tavon, Quintina, Deitrick, and Maya; fourteen (14) great grandchildren, four (4) great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
