Rosa E. Schaffer, daughter of the late Jimmy and Elizabeth Manuel, was born on December 9, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. She reveived her education in the Baltimore City Public City School System and graduated from Dunbar High School. She became an employee of the Mass Transit Administration in 1980 as a bus driver and later transferred her position to a shop employee where she remained until 2005. Rosa was loving kind and devoted mother, sister, friend, family member and neighbor. She loved her sons, Marcus and Jamal. She was always smiling and happy; and loved to travel and camp outdoors, being around nature and water. Rosa was well known throughout her neighborhood for being kind and always watching out for the children. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Marcus and Jamal; two brothers, Gilbert Junior and Charles Peanut; a faithful, special friend, Lorenzo; a devoted neighbor, Elva; her committed sister-in-law, Annette; her godmother, Mrs. Ruby Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
