On that blessed July 9, 1930, our family star and matriarch, Rosalie Gromer, was born to Willie and Ida Gromer. She had three older siblings, Wallace, Betsy and Sissy and one younger brother, Earl. Be as it may, they have gone home before her. My-my, what a home coming that must be. For the record Rosalie found and fell in love with the Lord in 1959, and has never left Him. She also met and fell in love with William Johnson Sr. and the two were married in 1962. As a result of that marriage, William Johnson, Jr. Billy was born. There' also two older children, Lawrence Gomer Sr. the eldest and Ella Johns the second eldest. William Johnson, Sr. was called home to the Lord in 1999. The Lord called our loved one Rosalie on June 27, 2007. Rosalie leaves behind three children, sixteen Grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Rosalie also leaves behind; three close mothers of some of her grandchildren, Barbara Gomer, Blanche Hudson and Rosa Williamson and a host of immediate and extended cousin, nieces and nephews.
