IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosalie
Young
January 24, 1931 – December 24, 2017
Rosalie Young
daughter of the late Annie E. Williams
and Edward E. Young was born January 24, 1931 in Baltimore,
Maryland. She departed this life on December 24,2017 after a
lengthy illness.
Rosalie was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools, and was
a graduate of Douglass High School. It was there that Rosalie
discovered she had multiple sclerosis. Although Rosalie was
afflicted with this complication, she never let it overtake her or
dim her spirit. She was full of life and always made her voice known.
It was Rosalie's faith in God that made her strong and resilient to
anything that came her way.
Rosalie loved watching sports, reading, writing and was an avid news
junkie. In her spare time Rosalie who was a math whiz used her gift of
numbers to do friends and family income taxes.
Rosalie attended and was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church until she
was unable to attend due to her battle with MS. She faithfully read her
bible, listened to faith based programs on the radio and also watched
religious programs on television. Rosalie never lost faith or hope in the
Lord Jesus Christ. She gave her life to Christ early in her life. She knew
the Word of God and was always willing and ready to share her God with
others.
Rosalie loved her family very much and was a devoted grandmother,
who loved her grandson.
Rosalie leaves to mourn: a devoted and loving daughter-in-law, Nora
Young and grandson Roland Young; and a host of nieces, nephews and
devoted care-givers.
