Rosalind Claudette Giles, daughter of the late Margaret Louise Giles and Frank Addison, was born on April 14, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her last name from John Giles, her adopted father. she departed this life on May 6, 2012 at 9:45 p.m. after a lengthy illness. She received her education from Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School. After high school, she attended University of Maryland for a degree in Nursing; however, she also attended College Park for Business Administration and her last stop was at Morgan State University to study Health and Wellness. She received her GNA, certified to work at UCP and Frankford-Lorien Nursing Home. Her passion was helping and aiding adult patient. In 2006, she began working for the Baltimore Public School System as a substitute teacher at Lake Clifton High School with her sister, Wanda Giles. Whenever she was around, the event was filled with fun and laughter because she laved to sing, talk and dance. Rosalind made numerous friends whenever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her as "The Moose," "Roz" and "Poodie." she was always a true friend and devoted to her family. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, La'Keysha Marshall; son, Antoine Wood; son-in-law, Adrian Matthews, Sr; beloved grandson, Adrian Matthew, Jr; sister, Wanda P. Giles; three brothers, John A. Giles, Dennis A. Giles and Marshall g. Giles; one uncle, three aunts, fives nieces, two nephews, three great-nieces, eight great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends, including her dear friend, Delores Simmons and her home nurse, Debbie Epps.
