IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose Marie
Williams Madden
July 20, 1949 – October 26, 2024
Rose Marie Williams Madden, affectionately known as RoRo or Rosie, daughter of the late Paul Williams and Alma Walker was born July 20,1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life quietly on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Keswick Multi-Care after a lengthy illness.
Rose was raised in the Catholic church and gave her life to Christ at a young age. Throughout her later years she attended several churches. Rose began her education in Baltimore City Catholic School, graduating from Eastern High School. She then attended Morgan State College where she also met and married Edward Madden. From that union they had 2 daughters, Kippa and Kali. She began a career at Social Security Administration working there for 20 years and retired in 2001. During her employment at SSA, she went back to college obtaining a Batchelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Coppin State
University in 1998.
Rose was a feisty one and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She was a lover of books and loved learning and reading about new things. She loved to sing and dance so much that you could find her dancing even
when she was wheelchair bound. Lastly, she loved watching her favorite 2 shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
If you knew Rose you knew that she liked no one, but loved everyone. Rose was proceeded in death by her siblings and was the youngest of seven children, Elizabeth (Betty), Catherine, Paul, Arnold, Patricia,
and Lawrence. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Kali Ireland (Derrick), Kippa Madden, 4 granddaughters Stephanie Portee (Maurice), Shaira Madden, Kendall and Kameron Ireland, her god-daughter Dianca Mann, two great-grand-children, Sydney and Mason Portee, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To our beloved mother and grandmother in heaven, thank you for your endless love and guidance. Even though you're no longer with us, we can still feel your warmth surrounding us. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love and miss you deeply. Lov'e Kippa, Kali, Stephanie and Shaira
To my Godmother with Love
Sometimes I get so busy that time just slips away.
And I forget to mention all the things I want to say—
And so, this special gift, is meant to be a token of thoughts and wishes often felt but all too seldom spoken.
No Godmother anywhere could ever be dearer or be loved more than you are, every day throughout the year.
Love Dianca Mann
