Rosetta Greene, daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Greene was born on June 3rd, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 12th after battling a lengthy illness. She received her education in the Baltimore City public school system. She graduated from Sojourner Douglas College with her bachelor's degree. She worked hard for many years. She was a free spirit that did her best to enjoy each day to the fullest. Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Charles Greene Sr., and sisters Margaret L. Parros, Hazel E. Thornton and Charlene T. Greene. Above all, Rosetta was a devoted family member. She cherished time spent with her children, family and friends, she made sure she kept everyone laughing at gatherings. In her quiet moments, Rosetta enjoyed playing solitaire on her phone, doing her crossword puzzles and scrolling Facebook. She would see you calling but wouldn't answer if she's scrolling Facebook. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her son Carlos Lewis Sr. (daughter-in-law, Syreeta) Daughter Tamika Franklin-El, grandson Carlos Lewis Jr.; Granddaughter Madison Lewis; one sister Darlene Logan (Cedric); two brothers, Charles Greene Jr. and Earl Greene; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rosetta will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
