Obituary

Rosetta Singletary Johnson the daughter of the late Charlie Sr. and Pauline Scott-Singletary, was born in Kingstree, South Carolina on February 6,
1936. Her parents and one son, Kevin Coley preceded her in death.
Rosetta was the third oldest of twelve siblings, three of her brothers and
one sister preceded her in death.

She received her early education in the Public School of Williamsburg
County, she graduated from Tomlinson High School.

Upon the conclusion of her education she moved to Baltimore, Maryland
where she resided for several years and later moved to Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania where she met and married Lawrence Howard. She made
numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by
everyone.

She leaves to mourn: a special friend of thirty plus years, Irvin Fisher
A.K.A. Pops; seven children, Rayford Johnson of Baltimore, MD, Bruce
Coley of Houston, TX, Christine (Danny) Conyers of Baltimore, MD,
Terence Howard of Philadelphia, P A, Mary (William) Forbes of Myrtle
Beach, SC, Brian (Karletta) Howard of Philadelphia, P A and Carol
(John) Brown of Kingstree, SC; one goddaughter, Kameakia (John)
Jackson of Kingstree, SC; those she raised as her own, Patricia Slater of
Bishopville, SC, Gloria Lewis of Bishopville, SC, Ruthie (Levern) Wil-
son of Alabama, Sherwin Fisher of Baltimore, MD, Sherod Fisher of
Delaware, Shervonda Fisher of Essex, MD, Sherida Fisher of Middle
River, MD and Desiree' Walker of Columbia, SC and also her special
cousin and caregivers, Minnie Cooper of Baltimore, MD, Romatoulaye
Diallo of Baltimore, MD, Henrietta Bayelle of Baltimore, MD; six
sisters, Onetta McCrea, Sadie Brockington of Kingstree, SC, Caretha
Bean of Florence, SC, Hattie (Hartwell Sr.) Pendergrass of Kingstree,
SC, Mary Madison of Stone Mountain, GA and Florence (Mack - Arthur
Sr.) Bryant of Darlington, SC; one brother, Stanley (Cassandra) Single-
tary of Baton Rouge, LA; thirty-seven grandchildren, twenty-seven great
grandchildren, four aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many
other relatives and friends.
