Rosetta (Rose) Jordan, daughter of the late Henrietta Hawkins Jordan and James Fisher, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 22, 1934. She transitioned into her heavily home on December 17, 2020 at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
She received her formal education through the Baltimore City Public School System. She was employed at Spring Grove Hospital for 23 years as a Dietary Supervisor until her retirement. She was a Chief Shop Steward for the Local Union 206. She became the cook for the Sisters of St. Agnes convent. She decided to become a foster parent and foster grandparent. She also gave her time to volunteering at Mercy Hospital.
Being reared in the Catholic faith, she renewed and rededicated her life to Christ. She received her certificate on December 16, 1990. She served as an Usher as well as being part of the Gold Dome. She would serve wherever she was needed in the church.
Rosetta engaged in many hobbies and sports. She was an excellent bowler. She earned many trophies and patches. She also loved to fish. Rose would be considered a sports woman.
She took pleasure in helping people, no matter what the task was. She enjoyed doing many things such as cooking, planning trips, and meeting people. One of the things she enjoyed the most was spending time with family and friends. She would always be the life of the party.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Peggy A. Harris; Grandsons Kevin, Jerrod (Aisha), and Domini Harris; Great Grandchildren, Ashante, Kardaysha, Marques, Chencia, Khamani, Jayda, and Chantly; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews; Cousins; Godchildren and host of relatives and friends.
