Rosie Lee Gross daughter of the late Bennie and Mamie Jones,
was born on November 10, 1933, in Hahira, Georgia. She departed
this life on December 8, 2018.

Rosie was reared in a Christian home by her parents and accepted
Christ at an early age. She received her education in Lowndes
County Georgia public schools. Upon graduating from High School,
Rosie relocated to Baltimore, MD where she met and married Daniel
H Gross who preceded her in death. As a result of this union,
daughter, Beverly Y Gross was born. Later in life Rosie had a son,
William C Davis.

Rosie joined the Pentecostal Holiness Church, under Rev Ruth Neal.
She later joined The City of Refuge under Pastor Jacob Lawrence and
she served until her death.

Rosie was employed by Mercy Hospital for over 40 years when she
finally decided to turn in her badge in 2002.

God called Rosie from labor to reward, on December 8, 2018. She will
be truly missed by all those who knew her as she left a lasting
impressionon all those she encountered.

Preceded her in death, were two brothers Julius and Arthur Jones,
and two sisters Lucinda Miler, and Lizzie Drummond.

Rosie leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Beverly
(Yvonne) Gross; son, William Davis; grandson, DeAndre Davis;
two sisters, Minnie Stanley and Ora Bell Register, both of Hahira,
Georgia; one brother-in-law, Jerry Stanley; one sister-in-law, Cleo
Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
