ROSIE PALMER (The Cleanest Woman on Earth) was born
on December 22, 1944 and departed this life on May 9, 2022.
She was born to the late William and Nettie Brown,
Rosie touched the life of each person she met. She didn't
mind telling it like it was! If you wanted a good conversation,
Rose was the person to have it with. She loved her family and
friends. Rosie had a passion for cleaning, cooking and gossip.
She also enjoyed decorating and shopping.
Rosie received her education in the Baltimore City Public
School System. After school she was employed until death. She
held several positions including restaurant, nursing, dietary and
janitorial. After retirement from the Baltimore County School
System, where she worked for many years, she went on to
work at Future Care Nursing facility where she remained until
she became ill.
Rosie was preceded in death by her son, David Burley, three
sisters and one brother Nettie Lawson, Lillian Drumgold, Edith
Ford and Robert Purnell.
She leaves to mourn: two sisters, Helen Brown and Lena
Thomas; her daughter, Catherine Palmer and son, Arthur
Palmer; daughter-in-law, Save Palmer; three grandchildren,
Triniece Palmer, Kayla Jenkins and Taylor Cunningham; and a
host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
