rosie Lee Tilmon, daughter of the late Louis and Annie Wilcox, was born on March 27, 1917 in rhine, Georgia. She departed this life on November 26, 2009 after a hard-fought battle with illness. Rosie was affectionately known as "Mrs. Rosie" and "the Frozen Cup Lady" by her family and friends. She was educated in the Rhine, Georgia Public School System. Rosie worked as a presser for varius laundry services and was a housekeeper for the Waxter Center. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. Rosie belonged to Gethsemane Baptist Church where she was an active member until her death. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Rosie was a generous and giving person who loved to cook. Rosie and Artis Adams were joined in holy matrimony on June 20, 1935, and Artis preceded her in death. Rosie later married the late Albert Tilmon. Cherishing her precious memory are; her loving children, Louis Clark Georgetown, South Carolina, Aretha Brooks and Artis Adams, Jr.,Slim from Baltimore, Maryland Raymond Adams preceded Rosie in Death; one brother, Nelson Wilcox Rhine, Georgia, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
