Roy Albert Carter, the son of the late James Carter Sr. and Deloris
Novella Carter, was born on March 24 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Throughout the years, Roy ventured into many professional arenas,
unfortunately, Roy's health began to fail and the loss of his beloved mother
left him broken hearted. Roy entered into eternal rest on November 18,
2015 at his home in Baltimore, Maryland. Roy accepted Christ in his life at
a young age, but recently reconfirmed his commitment to the Lord.
Everyone who knew him loved him. He enjoyed traveling, music, dancinq,
cooking, and entertaining his family and friends. Well known for his radiant
smile, comical sense of humor, words of wisdom and social charm. Uncle
Roy was Cool! He was the big brother and friend everyone knew or wanted
to know. Back in the day, he was socially active. He organized political and
social events. Some of which, are still around today. He will forever be
remembered as the humble humanitarian who spent his life giving
unconditionally of himself and spreading love all around. He received his
education in the Baltimore City Public School System and completed his
education through the original Job Corps Program. Roy Carter worked the
'wire" for the old C&P telephone copany. He was an activist, entrepenuer,
welder and metal fabricator for the Poly Fab Metal Corporation. He was
proud to be a grocer for Safeway Super Markets. Roy Carter also worked
