Ruby McCormick, daughter to the late Adis Hithon was born on February 21, 1926 in Virginia. Ruby departed this life on October 7,2015. Ruby had a Kind Gentle Soul who had a Smile for anyone she met. She was a trusting soul who accepted everyone as a friend. If you had a chance to really talk with her she could tell you all about her farm life. She would tell you all about the vegetables she planted and harvested at dinner time with a smile. She was proud that she had a part of contributing to help her family by providing food. Ruby's love for children began when she had to help take care of her baby sister Eva while their mother worked the farmland. Growing up in Baltimore County, she began to babysit for neighbor's children with such love and tender care. Then from there she helped babysit all her sibling's children and their children. Whom she loved dearly!!! Ruby McCormick leaves to cherish her memory: her sister Eva May Anderson, her brother Lemuel Hithon, Loving Niece Cheryl L. Anderson; Two Devoted nephews: Lawrence Anderson and Darryl Anderson; Great Nephews Malcolm T. Davis Jr. and Jameel U. Anderson (whom she helped to raise) and a host of other Nieces/Great Nieces and Nephews/Great Nephews and Loving Friends Her Extended Family from FutureCare Courtland: Crystal Andreasik, Lanita Shuford, Nurse Tisdale, Roberto King Williams and Dominic Medenu
